Walk-up testing for city businesses and employees at JRMC

As Perth Amboy businesses prepare to reopen this month, the State of New Jersey outlines the strategy and the answers to address concerns with guidelines needed to keep the employers and employees safe.  The JRMC in partnership with the City of Perth Amboy, Raritan Bay Area YMCA, and Perth Amboy Business Improvement District are working together as part of the city’s ‘Back To Business’ plan.  The plan involves three measures: a ‘Return To Work’ operating business checklist, readily-available social distancing signage including floor decals and hand sanitizers, and COVID-19 and antibody testing for city business owners and their employees.

The date scheduled for testing is Wednesday, June 17 at the Raritan Bay Area YMCA, located at 357 New Brunswick Ave.  Antibody and COVID-19 testing will be available to business owners, employees, and all city residents with and without symptoms.

How to register for antibody and COVID-19 testing for June 17th:

“The JRMC is committed to supporting the city’s businesses with testing,” said John T. O’Leary.  “It has been a stressful time for our small businesses.  Providing testing prepares them to protect their employees’ health and safety in the workplace.”
